School Entrance Interviews
Questions for an entrance interview will vary, however, they typically aim to assess a child's intellectual abilities, creativity, and communication skills. These schools often seek well-rounded individuals with a strong academic foundation, an eagerness to learn, and the potential to contribute to the school community.

Conducting an interview for a school entrance exam presents unique challenges distinct from the business world, primarily because the candidate is approximately 11 years old. Moreover, the nature of questions varies across schools, with each institution having its own criteria for evaluating prospective students.
During the interview, I will work with your child through a diverse set of questions, aiming to understand their responses and assess not only the content but also the manner of expression. Additionally, I will pay attention to their body language, providing guidance to help your child enhance this aspect of communication.

It's essential for parents and their children to be well-prepared for these interviews, emphasising the child's strengths, achievements, and genuine interest in learning. Additionally, encouraging the child to be themselves and express their thoughts clearly is crucial during the interview process.

I will help your child to develop these skills in a very relaxed and encouraging environment. The one advantage that I have is that I am not your child's parent. Taking interview advice from the parent does not always end in positive results. So, as an impartial outsider, I may be able to help and teach your child, minimising your stress!
